Steamboat Springs Trip!
The dates of February 26-March 1, 2009, have been chosen for the ISC’s trip to Steamboat Springs. The plan is to provide bus service from Pocatello and Salt Lake City, lodging at Steamboat and three days of skiing. Watch for more details at the website: www.intermountainskicouncil.com .
Far West Convention in Bellevue, Washington (outside Seattle), June 5-8, 2008!
FWSA Convention materials have gone out to the clubs. If you are interested in attending, please check with your club officers or ISC board members and reps. The registration fee is $160. The deadline is May 9th, but there is a $25 discount (or $135) for registering by April 30th. After May 27th, the fee goes up to $175. Great break-out sessions and lots of fun activities have been planned. Check out the FWSA website, www.fwsa.org, for more information.
Bogus Basin (Boise, Idaho) is going through the application process to join ISC.
At the April 9th ISC board meeting, officers were elected. VPs Norm Bates (Membership) and Joe Coles (Travel) have switched positions. The other positions will remain unchanged. The officers for the 2008-09 year are:
Don Anderson – President
Norm Bates – VP of Travel
Joe Coles – VP of Membership
Cynthia Sulprizio – VP of Resources
Emily Davies – Secretary
Lizbeth Benson – Treasurer.
